Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate proficiency in selecting appropriate diagnostic imaging modalities and interpreting results for patients through practical experiences and case studies

demonstrate proficiency in assisting clinicians and independently performing radiographic imaging on animal patients through practical experiences and supervised practice

demonstrate proficiency in assisting clinicians and independently performing ultrasonographic imaging on animal patients through practical experiences and supervised practice

demonstrate proficiency in communication, teamwork and professional skills by effectively interacting with clients, colleagues, and team members in the diagnostic imaging practice setting.
