Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
proficiently and confidently apply advanced critical thinking and clinical skills in production & mixed animal practice, integrating knowledge, experience, and ethical considerations to deliver optimal care for animals while engaging in reflective practice
independently and skilfully formulate diagnostic plans based on clinical presentations, perform a range of common diagnostic tests, and interpret the results in production & mixed animal practice patients
demonstrate proficiency in performing common clinical procedures, implementing appropriate treatment plans, and managing groups of production & mixed animal practice patients through practical hands-on experiences and case studies
demonstrate proficiency in communication, teamwork and professional skills by effectively interacting with clients, colleagues, and team members in the production & mixed animal practice setting.
