Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

discuss clinical presentations, diagnostic approaches, and treatment options for a range of common diseases experienced in avian, native, wildlife, exotic and zoo animal practice while engaging in reflective practice

apply knowledge of diagnostic testing principles to design and apply effective diagnostic testing plans for avian, native, wildlife, exotic and zoo animals with medical conditions

formulate therapeutic plans for avian, native, wildlife, exotic and zoo animal patients using a logical clinical reasoning framework through practical experiences and case-based learning activities

demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills while participating in a veterinary clinical team in a avian, native, wildlife, exotic and zoo animal setting while considering a diverse range of cultural perspectives.
