Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
proficiently and confidently discuss common diseases encountered in intensive animal production systems
apply knowledge of diagnostic testing principles to design and apply effective diagnostic testing plans for animals in intensive production systems with medical conditions
formulate therapeutic plans using a logical clinical reasoning framework for intensive production system patients through practical experiences and case-based learning activities
demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills while participating in a veterinary clinical team in an intensive production system setting.
