Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

apply diagnostic clinical reasoning processes, theory, and practical skills to clinical scenarios through practical and case-based learning while engaging in reflective practice

demonstrate proficiency in assessing normal behaviour and common behavioural abnormalities through the general clinical examination of species commonly encountered in veterinary practice

apply animal welfare and ethics principles in veterinary practice through practical experiences and case-based learning

apply the principles and practice of veterinary diagnostic imaging and radiation safety through practical experiences and case-based learning.
