Unit description

This unit aims to develop student competency in technical and professional skills required for entry into a clinical teaching environment in order to safely participate in clinical extramural experiences. Students will gain confidence in their practical skills and the common clinical procedures performed in veterinary practice.

Module 1. Clinical reasoning and recording clinical data.

Module 2. Clinical skills 2: Companion animal

Module 3. Clinical skills 2: Equine

Module 4. Clinical skills 2: Ruminant

Module 5. Clinical skills 2: Exotic/Native/Zoo/Wildlife

module 6. Clinical skills 2: Animal handling and technical skills: Pigs/Poultry

Learning outcomes
