Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

apply knowledge of the process of digestion to explain the differences across animal species while engaging in reflective practice

apply knowledge of the digestive system to describe in detail its structure across animal species while actively engaging in reflective practice

apply knowledge of metabolism to describe in detail its variations across different animal species

apply knowledge of the endocrine system to describe in detail its structure and function across animal species.
