Unit description

Introduces students to the contemporary theories and practices which underpin the modern tourism system. Students focus on tourism as both a social, cultural and economic phenomena which draws upon a wide range of academic disciplines and business processes as it seeks to meet the competing demands of various stakeholders.

Learning outcomes

demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect on the challenges of meeting the increasing complex demands of stakeholders in the tourism industry.
