Enrolment information
All students are required to meet participation requirements including compulsory attendance at the residential, either online or face to face. Students enrol by the date specified by the Professional Experience Team to ensure a placement can be arranged. Students are to provide evidence of compliance for all placement requirements prior to attending professional placement. Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate ethical and professional conduct in the professional experience setting with commitment to and engagement with the children, families and the early childhood community
create, develop, implement and document early childhood educational programs for children with sound links to understandings of children’s learning, child development, theories of learning, understandings of diverse families and communities and research
demonstrate understanding of professional skills to support children’s pro-social development and competencies
create, design and assess flexible, healthy, sustainable environments that support children’s learning
