Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

appraise diagnostic processes that contribute to a thorough investigation of clients with cooccurring conditions

justify proposed management alternatives based on the outcomes of assessment, tailored to individual needs and supported by evidence

plan assessment and intervention responsive to individual and community needs

devise strategies for inter-professional consultation to further inform clinical decisions around differential diagnosis and to support planning of evidence-based treatment
