Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

analyse, interpret and report on speech pathology assessment data gathered from clients with acquired language and/or cognitive communication impairments

develop and justify a speech pathology assessment plan for use with adults with acquired motor speech disorders

analyse, synthesise and interpret speech pathology assessment data relating to adults with acquired motor speech disorders

apply and integrate theoretical knowledge and case-based assessment data to differentially diagnose communication disorders and their subtypes and plan further assessment
