Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

describe the history, models, classification systems and definitions of speech sound disorders and developmental language disorders in children

compare approaches in the assessment and diagnosis of speech sound disorders in children

describe approaches in the assessment and diagnosis of developmental language disorders and literacy concerns in children
