Unit description

Introduces participants to research related to the real world and opportunities in industry. Participants will learn about the research process, identify a suitable issue for research, and identify suitable research tools to address the issue.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

critically review and synthesise literature with regard to relevant research problems, issues or opportunities.

develop, pilot and apply critical research tools that have the potential to solicit required data to analyse a given problem, issue or opportunity.
