Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate advanced skills in working as a safe, competent pedorthic practitioner
demonstrate a professional level of case management skills consistent with a beginning pedorthic practitioner
provide person-centred pedorthic advice and appliances for complex and high risk cases
display high standards of professional and ethical conduct
communicate competently and professionally, and present a case study consistent with the requirements of a beginning pedorthic practitioner
critically review pedorthic practice.
