This unit contains Work Integrated Learning (WIL) that requires students to meet mandatory fit to practice obligations prior to attending. Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
integrate knowledge of human sciences and clinical presentations to the physiotherapy management of cardiorespiratory conditions
select and perform physiotherapy assessment of cardiorespiratory function integrating a clinical reasoning framework
effectively communicate with client, the medical team and other relevant stakeholders
apply person-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy management of people with cardiac and respiratory conditions, chest trauma and post-surgery for optimal client health and well-being, that is collaborative and culturally responsive
