Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
integrate knowledge from neuroscience to explain the relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviour
integrate critical mindfulness techniques into daily life to increase awareness and management of own values, thoughts and emotions
critically evaluate the emotions and behaviours of self and others to enable learning from experience using a model of reflection
implement models of social and emotional intelligence to foster a team climate, manage boundaries, task allocation, giving and receiving feedback
