Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
identify the structures, funding and models of care within the Australian healthcare system and within the broader context of international healthcare
describe the role of social determinants and health literacy in the health of Australians
cooperatively communicate the impact of various health policies, priorities and frameworks on health promotion and health service delivery in Australia
examine the current and future directions of healthcare within the context of health technologies and global health issues
