Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate advanced clinical understanding of body systems and the integration of safe and effective osteopathic diagnosis and treatment approaches at a level appropriate for independent osteopathic practice
incorporate scientific evidence and determinants of health into clinical reasoning and management strategies
develop interprofessional patient-centred management strategies that facilitate participation in work and activities of daily living for diverse populations across the lifespan
engage in an inclusive and collaborative model of practice to communicate appropriately and effectively with diverse populations
