Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate an advanced understanding of the osteopathic principles of diagnosis and treatment as it relates to the paediatric patient and the role of parents and care givers

Identify redflags and contraindications to develop safe and effective management plans, including referral for the paediatric patient

critically review osteopathic diagnosis and treatment as it relates to the evidence informed management of paediatric patient

demonstrate safe and effective assessment and management of the paediatric patient
