Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

apply occupational therapy and biopsychosocial concepts and theories relevant to individual learning and systematic instruction

develop an evidence-based program incorporating goal setting and behaviour support principles for an individual client, within a service context

apply concepts and theories underpinning group work to deliver an evidence-based group program for individuals with specific occupational support needs.

collaboratively conduct a therapeutic group activity
