Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate intermediate performance and recording techniques in an ensemble setting on an instrument or singing
apply intermediate-level arrangement techniques for strings, horns, and electronic sound sources
apply intermediate-level music theory principles to ensemble practice, recording and performance.

- Performance students are required to provide all their own leads, microphones, tuners, drumsticks and metronomes and must wear shoes in the D Block building at all times. Students are to provide their own ear plugs if required.
