Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

apply principles of UX design to analyse and evaluate the user interface of an interactive application.

apply design-thinking processes and user-centred evaluation methods to meet design requirements.

produce and present documentation to communicate an UX design product to multiple stakeholders.

design and prototype the user-interface for interactive applications in a team-based environment using emerging technologies, multimedia software and tools.
