Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
identify and analyse key technologies that have emerged and shaped the business world.
evaluate the impact of disruptive innovation in order to plan, develop and implement strategies for competitive advantage.
propose and predict, by applying theory, the impacts that emerging technologies will have on different industries, and understand and define how best to respond to the challenges and opportunities that disruption offers.
discuss trends, developments and critical issues including legal, social, ethical, cultural, human, and security implications of key emerging technologies within enterprises.
