Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate knowledge and practical skills of methods, components, processes and architectures of Business Intelligence environment and incorporate it with marketing strategies

understand the scope, power and limitations of the methods and tools of BI and adapt appropriate BI solutions to facilitate the decision-making processes

apply systematic and analytical thinking on planning business intelligence roadmaps to derive insights and generate value within a variety of business contexts

enhance interpersonal and communication skills with analytical thinking and data visualisation techniques.
