Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of contemporary business communication methods
identify, compare and contrast a piece of contemporary business communication and evaluate it in the context of the message, the sender, and the audience
demonstrate the capability to apply contemporary business communication methods
demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon one's personal communication style, its suitability to different audiences in the hospitality industry, and opportunities for self-improvement.
