Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate skills in project management in forests including stakeholder identification and consultation; preparation of project plans including milestones and work schedules; preparation of budgets and expenditure review; contingency plans

demonstrate knowledge of, and skills in business management principles; legislative compliance and contracts as these relate to forest operations

be familiar with forest operations and relevant challenges specific to provision of recreational and conservation services

be familiar with forest operations and relevant challenges specific to provision of recreational and conservation services
