Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Analyse the process of landholder and resource management decision making and identify the drivers and barriers of adoption

Integrate and apply transdisciplinary knowledge to inform policy and practice in agricultural systems and private landholdings for sustainable and regenerative outcomes

Evaluate the role of research, ethics, and communication channels in implementing change

Demonstrate presentation and discussion skills as relevant to natural resource managers and extension providers
