Unit description

This unit aims to ensure that Higher Degree Research graduates have the communication and outreach skills that employers require in a professional working environment. The unit provides exposure to various means of communication and outreach that graduates might be expected to use in their chosen career. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in a number of these media, which is obtained throughout their Higher Degree Research degree.  

Unit content

Candidates will obtain the ability to communicate effectively to multiple audiences, from a discipline-specific audience through to members of the general public with no disciplinary background. By the completion of their Higher Degree Research degree, candidate's should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in multiple media.
