Enrolment information
Requires successful completion of all Doctor of Education coursework units, Confirmation of Candidature and approval by both the Course Coordinator and Director, Graduate School prior to enrolment. Note: Attendance at the workshops is compulsory. Two 2-day on-site workshops (4 days in total) are held on the Gold Coast campus. Enrolment in this unit is managed by the Graduate School.
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
design and conduct original and ethically-approved research within the area of education or an education-related field of research
prepare a thesis (50,000 words) or equivalent in an education or education-related field of research
