Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
critically analyse the evolution of educational models and assess their relevance and application in contemporary educational contexts, using current literature together with socio technological Advances such as Generative AI;
apply advanced contemporary learning theories to develop and implement student-centred and inclusive lesson design that foster engagement and learning;
evaluate and integrate culturally responsive teaching principles and pedagogical practices to create new inclusive and engaging learning environments that enhance outcomes for all students;
design and integrate reflective practices to assess, refine, transmit and improve instructional strategies, promoting continuous professional growth and student success.
