Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate effective teaching and learning strategies, based on the NSW Quality Teaching framework and a range of current pedagogical theories designed to encourage the development of knowledge, understanding, skills, and student engagement
apply an understanding of aspects of curriculum differentiation in order to meet the diverse needs of learners and engage students in active learning
critique and apply a range of strategies that assess student achievement of learning outcomes
prepare detailed, coherent and engaging lesson plans, programs and units of work relating to selected theoretical and practical content and learning outcomes from the Dance or Drama Stage 4 and 5 syllabus
