Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
Describe how sociological theory on social and cultural practices can shape diverse learner identities and a sense of belonging.
Evaluate diverse learners’ needs using a justice, equity and rights lens within educational settings.
Analyse the inhibiting and enabling factors, including global data, which can impact on the learning and wellbeing outcomes of children and young people.
Evaluate the wellbeing impacts of whole school approaches to inclusion for children and young people.
