Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
develop and maintain professional and ethical relationships with clients, colleagues and supervisors
apply evidence-based counselling theory and accompanying counselling skills, contextualised to specific clinical presentations
demonstrate competence in the assessment of client issues, producing clear, coherent and evidence-based case conceptualisations and client case conceptualisations
display cultural competence, evidenced by awareness of and sensitivity to a range of multicultural factors
