    To successfully complete this unit you should have completed units equivalent to 192 credit points (typically 16 units).

  • Enrolment information

    This is a capstone unit that integrates the knowledge you have developed during your degree. In it you will work independently with a community partner.


Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate an applied understanding of critical and active citizenship, including ethical and social responsibility, in their disciplinary context

demonstrate understanding of the concepts of teamwork, mutuality, reciprocity and respect in the context of a community partnership

show capacity for critical reflection on their experience demonstrated through reflective writing

demonstrate understanding of the range of participatory methods appropriate for collaborative partnership projects
