Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

evaluate the processes involved in the diagnosis of blood cell disorders

compare and report a range of blood cell disorders, including discussions of their causes and clinical diagnoses

solve complex clinical cases by using haematological methods

select and employ modern haematology laboratory methods and safe practices for the investigation of haematological and haemostatic disorders
