Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate an open, independent and inquiring attitude towards contemporary cultural developments and new ideas

design and produce artworks using basic printmaking techniques as a special means of creative and critical expression.

demonstrate an understanding of the differing methodologies to printing mediums, support, representations

articulate the theoretical, conceptual, and historical rationale of their work.

  • Students are required to provide all their own materials for this unit as directed at the beginning of session. A list of materials will be provided. Students must wear toe-covered shoes in V Block building at all times.
