Study Social Work
Help change the lives of others
Social work offers a variety of careers in client service, service management, research, strategy and policy development.
Our graduates are highly sought after in areas such as child protection, health, mental health, disability services, housing, youth work, aged care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, community development and domestic violence services.
With our Bachelor of Social Work, you gain an entry-level, professionally accredited qualification to practise as a social worker, with 1,000 hours of placement experience. The course also has an embedded Honours program for those interested in pursuing a research path.
Furthermore, if you have an undergraduate degree in the social sciences, social welfare, psychology or related fields, our Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) is an Australian Association of Social Workers-accredited qualification that also meets the Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards (ASWEAS).
