Campus Transfer within Southern Cross University
If you start your course at one campus and wish to transfer to another SCU campus there are certain requirements that must be satisfied before the transfer is approved.
The minimum eligibility requirements for a campus transfer are:
- Successful completion of at least one session or two terms of study, at 'Pass' level or higher. A student with an 'Absent Fail' grade will not be considered; and
- Students on intervention for unsatisfactory academic performance will not be considered; and
- Have no outstanding grades or special exams at the current location/campus; and
- No outstanding fees remaining on the student record. All outstanding debts must be cleared from the student account prior to application; and
- The course must be offered at the requested destination campus, including unit availabilities; and
- The student must have an approved study plan for the destination campus. A transfer that requires an extension to a CoE due to the revised study plan will not be considered.
Director, SCU International may consider a transfer request from a commencing or continuing student if it is supported by sufficient evidence indicating compassionate or compelling circumstances.
If you meet all of these criteria you should apply on the Application for Campus Transfer - SCU International. In order for your application to be considered, all sections of the form must be complete.
Course Transfer within Southern Cross University
The minimum eligibility requirements for a course transfer are:
Completion of at least one session or two terms of study; and
- Applications for course transfer must be lodged with admissions; and
- Applications will be assessed in accordance with the university's admission requirements for the new program including prerequisites; and
- Not be excluded from a Southern Cross University program; and
- Applicants with Absent Fail grades will not be considered; and
- Supporting statement must be provided with your application, explaining the reason/s for course transfer.
Director, SCU International may consider a transfer request if the student has been with Southern Cross University less than one session and is supported by sufficient evidence indicating compassionate or compelling circumstances or where it is considered students may gain academic benefit from the course change.
If you meet all of these criteria you should apply on the Application for Change of Course - SCU International. In order for your application to be considered, all sections of the form must be complete.
