Early Offer

The Early Offer program allows Year 12 students to secure a place in a Southern Cross University degree before Year 12 results are released. 

Being an Early Offer student means you receive personalised, specialised advice and assistance through every step of your transition from school to university. This includes special information sessions, exclusive events, scholarship opportunities, and access to university staff on the phone and email and chat to help you on your journey.  

Students apply for the Early Offer program through the University. University staff then reach out to the schools of the students to receive a recommendation based on the students' predicted ATAR. After the recommendations are received, the University provides the student with a letter of offer to study their chosen degree or an alternative entry pathway. 

Any Australian student (including Permanent Residents and Humanitarian Residents) currently completing Year 12 in a high school in Australia. International students are encouraged to submit a direct application.

Applications are made via the Early Offer page, please use the Apply Now link at the top of the page.

In you application, please provide a personal email address, not a high school email address, so we can reach you when you have graduated.

• 30th of September applications close.
• 30th of October the online portal where schools will assess your application and provide their recommendation following Southern Cross University's guidelines will close.
• 13th of November offers will be sent to students.

Applicants automatically receive a confirmation email, including a Southern Cross University student ID number and the course name.

Yes! Applicants can change their chosen course of study up until 30^th September 2024.  Details on how to do this are sent once an application is submitted, as part of the confirmation email.
