Safety alerts

Following the storms that affected the Lismore area yesterday afternoon, there has been some impact on the vegetation across the Lismore Campus with numerous trees and branches having fallen.

The Grounds team is currently prioritising high-risk areas, particularly those where limbs may still be hanging in trees or debris has fallen across walkways.

For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask all students and staff to avoid gathering or standing near trees at this time. Please exercise caution when moving around the campus. If you come across areas that are marked as 'no entry,' please adhere to these directions by the Grounds team.

Should you notice any areas that require immediate attention or pose as a significant safety risk, please report them immediately to PropertyServices@scu.edu.au so that the team can address the issue.
