Organisational and Course Reviews
Organisational and Course Reviews are an integral component of the University's Quality Frameworks.

Organisational Reviews:
The reviews provide important input into strategic planning activities, with implementation of recommendations incorporated into the strategic plans of organisational units and are undertaken according to the Organisational Reviews Policy.
The reviews, which have an emphasis on self-review, reflection, strategic positioning, continuous improvement and accountability, support the University's quality assurance objectives through establishment of an environment of continuous improvement and instigation of quality assurance measures. Types of organisational reviews include:
- Organisational Unit Reviews (Academic or Support Units)
- Function Reviews (involving services, functions and processes)
- Education Collaboration Reviews

Comprehensive Course Reviews:
The University has a rolling schedule of Comprehensive Course Reviews to ensure all courses remain accredited within the 7-year period required by TEQSA and follows the process outlined in the Course Review Process and Academic Quality, Standards and Integrity Policy.
Report/s from the External Course Review Expert and management responses from Dean of Faculty/College and Chair of Faculty Board form part of the Review documentation provided to the Accreditation Committee and Academic Board for the reaccreditation of a course.

Reviews in 2023:
(1) The Vice-Chancellor has approved a review of the SCU Educational Partnership Board and associated courses, which will be undertaken in May 2023.
The Review Panel members are:
- Professor Lisa Ruhanen (Professor & Director of T&L, School of Business, The University of Queensland) - Chair
- External Panel Member - Associate Professor Elspeth Frew, Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management, La Trobe University

(2) The Vice-Chancellor has approved a review of the Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples and associated courses, which will be undertaken in June 2023.
The Review Panel members are:
- Chair: Professor Barry Judd - Deputy Vice Chancellor, Indigenous, University of Melbourne
- External Panel Member: Professor Bronwyn Carlson, Head of Indigenous Studies, Macquarie University
- Member from SCU: Associate Professor Lynne McPherson (Faculty of Health)
The Terms of Reference are as follows:
(3) The Vice-Chancellor has approved a review of the Faculty of Business Law and Arts and associated courses, which will be undertaken in November 2023.
The Review Panel members are:
