Zonta Northern Rivers Scholarship

The Zonta Northern Rivers Scholarship will support a female student in the final year of the Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), or the Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying). The Zonta Club of the Northern Rivers of NSW was established in 1996, and is a member of Zonta International. Zonta promote the ideals of service, advancement of the status of women, networking, and personal development for women, and support Zonta International service projects, advocacy for women in Australia and in developing countries, and local community service projects.

How to apply

Applicants applying for this scholarship must:

  1. Be enrolled Gold Coast campus or Online
  2. Be in the final year of one the following courses:
  3. Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  4. Identify as female

Selection will be based on:

  1. The applicant should have an excellent GPA and a strong passion for the wellbeing of women and girls. Additionally, they should demonstrate a commitment to social justice and the principles of gender equity.

The successful candidate to be invited to attend a Zonta meeting during 2024, but this is not a condition of the Scholarship Award.
