Applying for a scholarship

  1. Enrolled into Bachelor of Indigenous Knowledge with Honours degree at Southern Cross University, where preference may be given to an indigenous student.

Selection will be based on:

  1. Academic merit — the applicant should have completed the Bachelor of Indigenous Knowledge degree at Southern Cross University attaining a GPA of 5.5 and above.
  2. An assessment of a one-page outline provided by the applicant of their Honours research proposal
  3. Consideration of the written evidence of support provided by the Honours supervisor and Dean of Gnibi.

Preference may be given to students whose research topic is in Aboriginal language, culture and heritage.

Situated in the heart of the Bundjalung Nation on the North Coast of NSW, Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples is also represented at the Coffs Harbour and Gold Coast campuses, on the territories of the Gumbaynggirr People and Nganduwal Minjungbal/Yugambeh People of the northern end of Bundjalung Country respectively.
