Application Process

Students do not have to apply for Merit-based Scholarships. The Scholarships will be awarded to 2024 school leavers achieving the ATAR or equivalent outlined above, and who are enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in 2025.

Applicants applying for this scholarship must:

  1. Be in a Commonwealth-supported place or be an on-shore International student.
  2. Be commencing any full-time Bachelor degree at Southern Cross University.
  3. Reside within or have completed year 12 at a school within Northern New South Wales to South East Queensland.
  4. Have achieved an ATAR of 90 or above.

Selection will be based on:

  • ATAR or ATAR equivalent achieved in 2024 year 12 studies.

Note:
- Offers will be made to the top 10 highest achieving eligible students with ATARs 90 or above.
- This scholarship cannot be held in conjunction with any other merit-based scholarship offer. Southern Cross University will automatically allocate you to the highest-value merit-based scholarship for which you are eligible.

Commencing in an undergraduate Bachelor program. Studying on-campus at either Coffs Harbour, Lismore, the Gold Coast, National Marine Science Centre, Coomera or Online.
