Application Process
To be considered for the Resilience Merit Scholarship, students must demonstrate educational barriers. To meet this requirement students will have done one or more of the following:

Have an assessed application for a Southern Cross University Equity Scholarship

Have an accepted registration with Southern Cross University Inclusion Support
- Have provided meritorious responses to questions relating to hardship on their Southern Cross University Scholarship application
Applicants applying for this scholarship must:
- Be in a Commonwealth-supported place.
- Be commencing any full-time Bachelor's degree at Southern Cross University in Term 1.
- Have achieved a minimum ATAR (IB Diploma score equivalent) of 80 and above.
- Will have demonstrable financial and/or educational barriers to university entry.
- Not in receipt of another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.
Selection will be based on consideration of the following factors:
- ATAR or ATAR equivalent achieved in 2024 year 12 studies.
- Degree of disadvantage faced by the student.
Commencing in an undergraduate Bachelor program. Studying on-campus at either Coffs Harbour, Lismore, the Gold Coast, National Marine Science Centre or Online.
