ZeroWaste Research Cluster - Tackling the global waste problem

Bringing together research expertise in geochemistry, environmental science, engineering, business and education to develop solutions for our global waste problem. Our research addresses the barriers associated with integrating wastes into the circular economy, developing and implementing cutting-edge scientific, technical, social, economic and education-based solutions.

Part of the ZeroWaste cluster, The ReCirculator program establishes research partnerships and promoting information sharing with Northern Rivers businesses to:

drive economic growth
identify new markets and opportunities
save organisational costs
improve efficiency and productivity
regenerate resources, and
connect local businesses with a circular economy ecosystem
using cutting-edge technology
