Welcome to the Northern Rivers, Lismore campus Open Day!

Make 2025 your year to study and join us at Open Day on our Northern Rivers, Lismore campus with panel sessions, interactive experiences, spotlight talks and your chance to win a MacBook Pro*. 

Set on acres of lush rainforest that includes a koala hospital, our Lismore campus is in the heart of the Northern Rivers on the lands of the Bundjalung Nation. Within easy reach of both national parks and the beautiful beaches of Ballina and Byron Bay, the campus is home to state-of-the-art engineering and environmental science facilities, specialist health labs and simulated hospital wards. There's also sports fields, a library complex, heated pool, sauna, gym, on-campus accommodation and childcare services, as well as a Health Clinic to bring study and life together.

  • Science (all day) - Visit an observational bee hive and sample honey from around the world. Get up close with varroa mites and other bee pests under the stereomicroscope.
  • Biomics Facility visit (11am, 12pm, 1pm) - Discover how engineers are transforming our future with demonstrations in our state-of-the-art laboratories. From technology revolutions in robotics and 3D printing, to environmental innovation with plastic extrusion and wastewater treatment, learn more about exciting evolutions in engineering.

Discover how you could help transform the lives of others with a course in Naturopathic or Lifestyle Medicine. Learn about the innovative National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine which focuses on incorporating evidence-based science into naturopathic education and clinical practice.

You can also book in to one of the two interactive ‘game show’ quiz experiences at 11:45am and 1:30pm to learn about the breadth of what a naturopath would do and how they would approach treatment. Plus taste different herbal tea blends and learn how they may be important for your health.

Osteopathy is a holistic and preventative approach to diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal problems and other functional disorders of the body via manual therapy. Gain in-depth knowledge of how the human body works and responds.

Drop into our campus tours

Jump on a campus tour and explore the state-of-the-art facilities on each of our campuses.

The tours run on the hour from 11am, with the last tour departing at 1pm.

You can find the tour starting point by following the signs on the day.

Proudly embedded in our local community, our Lismore campus is set within 75 hectares of lush, sub-tropical grounds, landscaped gardens and rainforest walkways. The campus is five minutes from the centre of Lismore, just 30 minutes from Byron Bay, and is on the doorstep of magnificent natural environments that contain a variety of native wildlife and plant species.
