Update:

Enrolment Support & Late Enrolments

We understand that connectivity issues have impacted some students. If you can safely travel to a location with stable internet access, we encourage you to do so today, 12 March 2025.

If you miss today's deadline, you can still enrol by submitting a Unit Approval Request via MyEnrolment, citing ‘Late Enrolment’ as the reason. This must be submitted no later than 6:00 PM (NSW time) on Friday, 14 March 2025. Please note:

  • Requests will be processed as quickly as possible.
  • Access to MySCU learning sites will be available from next week, allowing you to commence your studies.

Library Access

For students experiencing power or internet disruptions:

  • Gold Coast Library: Open and staffed as usual, with 24/7 access for eligible students.
  • Lismore Library: Open today 12 March from 1-5 PM. Regular staffing resumes from 13 March 2025, with swipe card access from 7-8 AM and 5-6 PM. New students: information on how to get after hours library swipe access.
  • CHEC Library: Open as usual.

Assessment Extensions

To support affected students, all assessment due dates for this week and next week have been extended by three days.

Extensions apply to:

  • SCU Online students in affected areas
  • Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast, and Brisbane-based students

Extensions do not apply to students based at Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Hayman Island, offshore partner campuses, or online students in non-affected areas.

Dual Term 2 Enrolment

Self-enrolment for Dual Term 2, 2025, remains open until Monday, 17 March 2025.

Our teams are also impacted and are doing their best to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible.

If you have extenuating circumstances, such as flood damage or ongoing loss of power or internet connectivity, you may apply for additional special consideration through our regular process where the standing rules and conditions will apply.
