Southern Cross University’s science degrees ranked in the top 5% of all global universities

The global university ranking index, Times Higher Education (THE), has listed Southern Cross University as world-ranked in seven different subject areas.
THE’s World Subject Rankings 2021 were released today (Wednesday 28), with Southern Cross University one of only 1500 international universities to make the grade. There are about 11,000 universities worldwide.
The rankings cover 11 key subject areas.
It is the only series of global performance tables that judge research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
Overall Southern Cross University was ranked in the following band of top universities globally for these subject areas:
301–400 in Life Sciences
301–400 in Physical Sciences
401–500 in Psychology
401–500 in Social Sciences
401–500 in Education
501–600 in Business and Economics
601+ in Clinical and Health
“This is represents recognition of the world-class teaching and research under way at Southern Cross and aligns with our strengths in the area of health, physical science and business,” Vice Chancellor, Professor Tyrone Carlin said.
