We've taken possession of a Southern Cross 'dream machine' – a 1974 Kombi repurposed as a Southern Cross vehicle – and invited four students to drive it from Melbourne to our campuses in Coffs Harbour, Lismore and the Gold Coast, visiting communities and online students along the way.

Around one third of Southern Cross students study online and we like to make sure they're included as part of the University community.

The trip provides an opportunity to highlight the breadth of our education and research, showing what it means to be one of the top 50 young universities in the world.

The #SCURoadTrip: another way to make sure more people hear about Southern Cross – and give students the trip of a lifetime along the way.
